SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FEDERAL FUNDS TO RENAME PERSIAN GULF. (a) In General.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds are authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to rename the Persian Gulf. (b) References.--No law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States may refer to the Persian Gulf by a different name without express authorization of Congress.
