An amendment to designate 4,010,400 dollars for Fisheries Grants to States of funds provided the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for operations, research and facilities. It also specifies that 27,564,000 dollars are to be available for the Marine Resources Monitoring Assessment Program, 5,222,000 dollars for the Fisheries Habitat Investigations, and 2,276,000 dollars for Environmental Impact Analysis. These figures are maximum amounts available. It also stipulates that none of the funds for NOAA shall be used for Coastal Zone Management Fisheries Advice or Market News Reports. To accomplish this, the amendment reduces the amount transferred from the fund entitled "Promote and develop fishery and research pertaining to American fisheries" from 11,700,000 dollars to 6,700,000 dollars thus reducing monies for other.
